Jurisdiction & Legal Basis
Establishment
The Authority is established for the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, in the Union of the Comoros. A licence issued here is an Anjouan remote gaming licence.
Regulatory Scope
The Authority licences and supervises remote casino, sports betting, poker, lottery, bingo, and the supply of a gaming platform. A licence does not authorise land-based premises.
Supervisory Authority
Only the Authority can set a filing to active. Holders and merchants cannot publish their own status. The register, not a private letter, is the public record.
Compliance Standards
Licensed operators keep customer funds identifiable, report suspicious activity, offer self-exclusion before a deposit, and file changes of control, domain, and address.
Regulatory Notices
Annual confirmation remains part of renewal
An active holder confirms the legal name, the categories offered, the domains in use, and the addresses at renewal, and when those facts change.
The seal follows the register
The image address of a licence seal returns the mark that matches the current status. When the status changes, the same address changes with it.
Only an active licence may be shown as permission
Application received, suspended, expired, and revoked are not permission to operate. The public register is the place to check.
